Nudist Volleyball Super Bowl
People may get the wrong idea when they hear Nude Volleyball. At the White Thorn Lodge in Darlington, Pennsylvania this is the sport of choice. White Thorn Lodge is a private family nudist club nestled in the hills of Western Pennsylvania, an hour or so from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Erie, Canton and Wheeling. Though clothing is optional it is frowned upon for those who wear any. Since 1971 this has been a family gathering and with your choice of men’s, woman’s, or co-ed this is ultimate in nude sports.
The White Thorn is AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation) certified and takes these games seriously. During their Super Bowl they can attract around 1,500 nude volleyball players and that’s not including spectators. The hardest part may be telling the teams apart because the uniforms all look the same.
